Voicemail Script for Bob G. NASDAQ/OMX announcement

Good morning everyone, this is Bob and I’m calling from Stockholm. I know that some of you must be thinking that every time I make these overseas calls to you, something big is in the works.

Well, I am happy to report that NASDAQ and OMX have agreed today to become one company. This transaction has been approved boards of both organizations. In addition, the largest shareholders have expressed their support.

The combination will be called The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. We are two highly successful organizations and together we will create the largest global network of exchanges and exchange customers linked by technology.

At NASDAQ we know that the future of exchanges is all about technology, flexibility, scale and proving global flow of equity capital. NASDAQ and OMX together will deliver these benefits.

I am truly excited about this opportunity which will create a new competitor in the exchange space, representing the intersection of global technology and exchange operation. It exemplifies the pioneering vision that NASDAQ has carried forwarded since its inception.

We share a common competitive heritage with the employees of OMX, and I know that we will enjoy working closely with them.

Thank you and I look forward to speaking with you later today at 11:00 am.
