Wharton Business Plan Competition Winners (WBPC) to Ring the NASDAQ Stock Market Closing Bell

Wharton Business Plan Competition (WBPC) winners, Cortical Concepts, consisting of students from the University of Pennsylvania and The John Hopkins University, will visit the NASDAQ MarketSite in New York City's Times Square.

Cortical Concepts has developed a device for use in spinal surgery that increases the strength of fixation in osteoporotic bone.

In honor of the occasion, members of the winning team and representatives of WBPC will preside over the NASDAQ Closing Bell.

The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and The John Hopkins University are NASDAQ OMX Educational Foundation partners.
